Gasthaus Zur Erle Restaurant in Simonswald

Small and nice house. In the room at the back of the torrent you can sleep wonderfully. Fam. Hornuss takes care of the guests lovingly and very attentively. Very good kitchen.

It used to be a very good address. On the way back we arrived on Friday shortly before 6 p.m. Locally empty. Asked if there was still space. Reluctantly, you should reserve, we were shown a table outside, otherwise everything was reserved. It was okay! My wife ate filled dumplings and I ate fish with dry potatoes. Before that, a salad and chanterelle soup. The price-performance ratio is no longer right at all. Went again at 7.20pm. Locally occupied at two tables. Can't come back from these circumstances. There are friendlier and recommendable restaurants in Simonswald !!!

Family atmosphere and breakfast with very good value for money. Bedrooms somewhat uncomfortable, but acceptable. And good location for hiking tourism.

The roast beef was great, the landlords were very accommodating, the rooms needed something fresh. colour

We spent four nights at the Gasthaus zur Erle. Room very clean, delicious breakfast and friendly, courteous hosts.

We really enjoyed our stay here, as the hotel was very clean and cozy and it is run with a lot of family hospitality.

Family-run country inn in the beautiful Simonwald valley. Excellent cuisine with high quality, regional products and friendly service. Comfortably furnished rooms, perfect for relaxing. Perfect location of the inn for excursions in the area. Highly recommended, gladly again!

In a rustic area you are expecting something simpler. But the elaborated menu is a bit too fancy and overpriced.

Large room with fridge and exit to the terrace, clean bathroom, wi-fi is but very poor, traditional German breakfast. Nice views from the room and a great sound of a brook.

The rooms arena nice andere clean, good bathrooms andere decent WiFi (the higher the room,the poorer the connection). The food is good, button the portions and prices arena not. Normal prices for a teller meal is €10, at this hotel we payed around €25 a meal! In de morning we asked for some water to cook and after paying the bill we saw we had to pay €10 for the water! Ik guess the hotel isnt going very good if they treat there guests this way. ...........
